NEWPORT -- Danial Ray Ballard, 31, passed away Monday due to injuries sustained in a house fire.
A celebration of life service will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory, with visitation afterwards.
Danial was born in Charleston, S.C., Sept. 24, 1977, to Wardell and Jean Clark Ballard of Goldsboro.
In addition to his parents, Danial is survived by his wife, Frannie R. Ballard; one son, Mason Dressel Ballard of Newport; one daughter, Jessica Renee Ballard of Newport; two brothers, Donnie Ballard and wife, Cynthia, of Goldsboro and Richard Ballard of Wilmington; one sister, Ruthann Ballard of Seven Springs; his paternal grandfather, Donald Ballard of New York; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in memory for his children, Mason and Jessica, to the State Employees Credit Union, c/o Frances Williams, 1804 N. Berkeley Blvd., Goldsboro, NC, 27534.
