SMITHFIELD -- Daniel Allen Heckman, 44, 114 Ray Road, died unexpectedly Tuesday.
The funeral will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Johnston Community College, with the Rev. Dwayne Batten officiating.
He was born Oct. 5, 1964, in Petersburg, Va., to Clifton Ray Jackson and Bettie Story Barbier.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Faye Dikes Heckman, and five children.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
