ALBERT L. JONES
Died June 28, 2009
Albert Leo Jones, 68, 563 Overman Road, passed away Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Seymour Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Tony McLamb and the Rev. David Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Kermit Sidney and Dollie Mae Newell Jones.
Mr. Jones retired from O'Berry Center with 25 years of service and was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. He served his country in the United States Army.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Judy Mooring Jones; a daughter, Patricia Jones of the home; a son, Albert L. Jones Jr. and wife, Margo, of Wilmington; and three grandchildren, Adam T. Jones, Jacob B. Jones and Olivia L. Cusumano. Mr. Jones is also survived by a sister, Dot Mitchell of Goldsboro; a brother, George Jones of Goldsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore Jones.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will be at the residence at other times.
