Clarice Austin Hamilton died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at New Stoney Hill Holy Church, Newsome Street, Goldsboro, with the Rev. Howard E. McNair officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Linwood E. Hamilton of the home; two children, Thaddeus Lamont Austin and Shauna Austin of Goldsboro; one stepson, Kenyatta Worrells of Goldsboro; her mother and stepfather, Delores Jackson and Curtis Jackson of Georgia; two brothers, Thomas Auston of Goldsboro and Joseph Austin of Savannah, Ga.; an aunt, Inez King of Goldsboro; six sisters-in-law, Ethel (Eugene) Battle, Rosa Thompson, Mable Bolar and Jean Hamilton of Goldsboro and Lillian (Obie) Isaac and Christine Hamilton of Columbia, S.C.; three brothers-in-law, Cleveland (Adell) Hamilton, Devon (Kathy) Hamilton and Edward Hamilton of Goldsboro; and a host of nephews and nieces.
The viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro, with the family to meet and greet from 5 to 6 p.m.
