WILMINGTON -- Berry O'Neal Carter, 42, passed away April 9 in New Hanover County.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service with the Rev. Todd Sutton officiating. Interment will follow at Snow Hill Cemetery.
Berry was born on Aug. 31, 1966, in Wayne County. He had worked in drywall installation and was a lover of nature and the outdoors.
Berry is survived by his parents, H.B. Carter and Doris Jean Baise Carter of Virginia Beach, Va., and Goldsboro; sister, Pamela Molina of Falls Church, Va.; and a brother, Michael Carter of Virginia Beach, Va.
The family will receive friends Friday prior to the service from 1 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are being handled by Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service of Snow Hill.
