SYBIL P. PINYATELLO
June 5, 1918-March 25, 2009
Sybil Parker Pinyatello, 90, passed away Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter in Walstonburg.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Tim Turner will officiate. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Sybil was born in Spartanburg, S.C., on June 5, 1918, to the late Ben Parker and Carrie Jackson Parker. She was married to the late Warren Bost and the late Lewis Pinyatello. Sybil retired after 35 years of service with Southern Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Sybil is survived by her son, Ben Bost and wife, Sherry, of Edgewater, Fla.; her daughters, Jackie Bost Mewborn and husband, Jack, of Greenville and Brenda Bost O'Neal and husband, George, of Walstonburg; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Mary Parker of Spartanburg, S.C., and Louise Parker of Spartanburg, S.C.; stepdaughters, Patricia Pinyatello Spence of Goldsboro and Catherine Pinyatello Holaday of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; three stepgrandchildren; and three step- great-grandchildren.
She was the loving sister to the late Cecil Parker and Roy Parker of Spartanburg, S.C., Ray Parker of Henderson and Billy Parker of Greensboro; and grandmother to the late Warren Parker Mewborn of Greenville.
