IRENE M. MOORE

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. -- Irene Meekins Moore, 83, widow of M. Samuel Moore, formerly of Goldsboro, died Friday.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Born in Washington, she was a daughter of the late John Sanderson and Irene White Meekins. She was retired from the Social Security Administration and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Matt Moore and Linda Sanders; daughter, Laura Moore Patterson; granddaughters, Christy and Amanda Patterson; and her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Mary Ann Meekins.
