Mable Millard Smith Ricks, 86, Woodard Care, died Monday. She was born to the late James Edgar and Alice Williams Millard. She was the widow of Robert Joshua Ricks and was preceded in death by two children; Robert E. and Morris Kenneth Smith; one grandson, Robert Graham Smith; and her first husband, Robert Morris Smith.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Kevin Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Olive Cemetery in Mount Olive.
She is survived by her sons; Horace Dennis Smith of Myrtle Beach, S.C., James Smith of Princeton; daughters, Shelby Broch of Goldsboro and Frances Merritt Kennedy of LaGrange; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
The family is being served by Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
