SELMA - William David Pearce, 57, 176 Ballard Lane, died Sunday at his residence. He was born in Wayne County and was the son of the late James Arthur and Maggie Wilkins Pearce. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. tonight at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Lewis Baker officiating. Committal service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Princeton Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadette Covan Pearce; three daughters, Julie P. Lurker of Phoenix City, Ala., Tiffany Pearce of Columbus, Ga., Heather Pearce of Wilson; a son, Chris Pearce of Las Vegas, Nev.; brothers, John Pearce of Dudley and Ray Pearce of Princeton; sisters, Hilda Edwards of Kenly and Brenda Pearce of Four Oaks; and a granddaughter.
The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. tonight and immediately following the funeral service.
