STANTONSBURG - John J.T. Thomas Taylor, 68, 706 Watery Branch Church Road, died Tuesday at his home.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. Pastor Foy Houston will officiate. Graveside service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Marsh Swamp Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
He attended Watery Branch Church in Stantonsburg and was the longest member employed at Lee Construction for over 47 years.
Among his survivors is his wife, Patsy Taylor.
The family will receive friends Thursday following the service at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine St., Fremont and other times at the residence.
