MECHANICSVILLE, Va. -- Jo Anne Williams Wyman, 71, died Tuesday.
She is survived by her husband, Jerome S. Wyman; a daughter, Elizabeth D. Phillips and her husband, David, of Mechanicsville; a son, William B. Wyman Jr. and his wife, Jacqueline L. Duke of Goldsboro; granddaughter, Carrie M. Mowbray and her husband, Brodie B. Dollinger, of Philadelphia, Pa.; grandchildren, Erica Elizabeth and William Ethan Duke, both of Stafford, Va.; sister, Emma Jean Wilson of Goldsboro; brother, Henry Williams of Brevard; a stepson, Edward C. Wyman and his wife, Paula, of Fort Worth, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Eddie E. Williams Jr. and John Williams; and a sister, Nancy W. Utley.
Mrs. Wyman was a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service.
Her family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee Davis Road, where funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. A private interment will be held at Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the East Hanover or Ashcake Volunteer Rescue Squad.
