MIGUEL A. OLEA

Miguel Angel Olea Casals, 82, 159 Hill St., died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Tom Norris, OSFS, officiating.
Born in Cobre, Cuba, he was the son of the late Domingo and Aurora Olea Casals. He moved from Cuba in 1971 to California and more recently he made his home in Goldsboro. He was very active in the Spanish community.
He is survived by five children, Miguel A. and Isabel Olea and Erie and Esther Olea of Santiago de Cuba, Blanca Olea of Santa Clara, Calif., Frank and Leonor Aanenson of Goldsboro, and Aniano and Eleanor Olea of Greenville, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial gifts be directed to the Hispanic Community Development Center, 309 Potts Road, Dudley, 28333.
The family is being served by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home & Crematory.
