FREMONT -- Eva Pate Wooten, 77, 305 S. Pine Street, died this morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 5 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Evans and the Rev. Neal Wingfield officiating. A graveside ceremony with the family will be held Monday at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont with the Rev. David Hollowell officiating.
Mrs. Wooten is survived by her son, Jamie Wooten of Asheville; her brothers, John Pate of Goldsboro and Jarvis "Pete" Pate of Kinston; and her sisters, Irene Stafford of Pikeville and Dorothy Kirby of Kenly.
The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
