William Hoggard, 67, 1210 Muriel St., died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel of Goldsboro and at 2:30 p.m. at Wilder Funeral Home Chapel of Aulander. Burial will be in the Wilder Cherry Family Cemetery in Aulander.
He served in the Air Force for 26 years and retired as a master sergeant. He also worked at the University of Illinois as a flightline attendant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Etta and John Hoggard.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Hoggard of the home; a daughter, Sherri of St. Louis, Mo.; four sons, Kevin of Champaign, Ill., Ronald and Randall of Indianapolis, Ind., and William Jr. of Sidney, Ill.; six sisters; two brothers; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be held Tuesday from 1 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home.
