BEULAH JOHNSON

Beulah Radford Johnson, 90, died Saturday at Britthaven Nursing Home. A native of Green County, she was born to the late Levy and Pearl Tyndall Radford, and was the widow of Zinnie Carter and Hubert Johnson. Mrs. Johnson worked at McClellans and was a member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Monday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Langley officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Wayne Memorial Park.

Surviving are her daughters, Dorothy Maxine Bass and her husband, Roy, of Wilson, and Geraldine Peele and her husband, Buck, of Pikeville; sons, Joseph Carter and his wife, Janice, of Pikeville, Morris Carter and his wife, Ann, of Snow Hill; stepdaughter, Mary Francis Phenicie of Alabama; stepson, Samuel Johnson of White Bluff, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; stepgrandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Eloise Burke and Inez Cox. A special thanks to the ladies of Victory Free Will Baptist Church for their love and support.

Mrs.. Johnson was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Head; her brothers, Jim Radford and Russell Radford; and a granddaughter, Pam Godwin.

The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home Monday night following the service and at other times at the residence of Geraldine Peele, 383 Big Daddy's Road, Pikeville.
