William F. "Bill" Smith, 53, of Stantonsburg, died Thursday after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Cadillac, Mich., he was the son of the late Theodore and Aleatha Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Cooper Smith; his son, Nathan Smith and his wife, Alysia, of Lafayette, Ind.; three grandchildren, Nathan, Katelyn and L.B.S.; his stepson, James Jackson of Orlando, Fla.; and four brothers, Richard Smith and Theodore Smith of Seminole Fla., James Smith of St. Petersburg Fla., and Robert Smith of Largo, Fla.
Services will be private. The family may be contacted for memorial information.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, Ill. 60707.
Arrangements are by Wilkerson Funeral Home and Crematory in Greenville.
