Danny Ray "Boon" Lofton, 48, of 614 W. Holly St., died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Derrick Oates officiating. Burial will be in Jerusalem Cemetery, Seven Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Marie Lofton.
He is survived by three sisters; Helen Newbourn, Mandy Loftin and Betty Lofton of Dudley; and brothers, Bobby Lofton, Senus Lofton, Sandy Lofton and Wiley Lofton of Dudley, Ronnie Lofton of LaGrange and George Lofton of Goldsboro.
The viewing will be Sunday at the funeral home during the hour prior to the service.
The funeral procession will line up at 136 Prayerhouse Lane in Dudley at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
