DOVER -- Neva Rosenboro Mitchell, 80, mother of William Mitchell of Goldsboro, died Monday at her home.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle in Kinston. Burial will be in Beasley Cemetery in Dover.
Mrs. Mitchell is also survived by six other sons, Marion Mitchell of Pink Hill, Willie Mitchell of Baltimore, David Mitchell of Laurelton, N.Y., Jimmy Mitchell of Kinston, James Mitchell of Winston-Salem and Wendell Murphy of Dover; six daughters, Minnie Stackhouse and Rosa Hardy of Kinston, Mertie Mitchell of Pink Hill, Connie Simmons of Dover, Alice Kowalski of Huntley, Ill., and Margaret Whitings of Knightdale; one sister, Henrietta Anderson of Bristol, Va.; and 51 grandchildren and 96 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Mills Funeral Home.
