VIRGINIA HUFFMAN

Virginia Lee Huffman of Goldsboro died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held today at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Burial will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Onslow Memorial Park.
Mrs. Huffman was a former resident of Richlands and was a member of Union Chapel Church. Her hobbies were reading, bird watching and growing flowers. She also enjoyed travel and loved animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryant Hill Huffman, and her parents, John Henry and Laura Koonce Kornegay,.
She is survived by one daughter, Norma Huffman Lanier, and her husband, Gene, of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Candace Herring and her husband, Dr. Lindsay M. Herring, of Goldsboro and Durwood K. Lanier and his wife, Dawn, of Sanford; and three great-grandchildren, Anna and Brandon Herring of Goldsboro and Megan Lanier of Sanford.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Home following the service tonight, and other times at the residence.
