Robert Cox died Wednesday at the Highland House of Fayetteville.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Bentonville Disciples of Christ Church. The Rev. Dr. Alex Cox will officiate. Burial will be in the Altman-Atkinson Cemetery on Scout Road, Four Oaks.
Mr. Cox was former resident of Four Oaks.
He is survived by three daughters, Doris Radcliff of Lillington, Minnie Bennett of Newton Grove and Clyda Bryant of Fayetteville; one son, Norbert Ray Cox of Four Oaks; and 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 8 p.m. on Saturday at Dafford Funeral Home in Dunn, and the family will be present to greet friends from 6 until 8 p.m. At other times, friends may call at the home of Bruce and Minnie Bennett, 1220 Old Goldsboro Road, Newton Grove.
