Colleen Dolores Coley, 46, of 479 Sheffield Drive, died Saturday at Erwin Gardens in Durham.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, July 30, at 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, 909 N. Spence Ave., Goldsboro.
Ms. Coley was born in Wayne County to the late James William Coley and Annie Hinnant Coley. She was a member of Darden Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was formerly employed as a detention officer at Wayne County Jail.
She is survived by one sister, Ann Marie Coley of Four Oaks, and two nephews, two nieces, four great-nieces and two great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, Va., 22038-1131.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
