Mary Diane "Jean" Jones, 42, of 600 S. John St., died Friday at home.
She was born in Wayne County to Thomas Jones and the late Marva Best Jones.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Wayne County Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Williams will be officiate
In addition to her father, she is survived by one brother, David Faison of Garner, and one sister, Robin Renee Jones of Newport News, Va.
Ms. Jones will lie in state on Wednesday from 1 until 4 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Laura Jean Turnage, 304 Cricket Ridge Road, Mount. Olive, N.C., 28365.
