SALISBURY -- Joyce Adams Bradley died Tuesday at her residence.
Mrs. Bradley was born in Mount Olive to the late Fred Lawton Adams and Elizabeth Raynor Adams. She was a graduate of East Carolina University and taught school for many years, retiring from the Salisbury-Rowan School System. After retirement she worked for Nazareth Children's Home, serving as a student liaison with the school system.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert Odell Bradley Jr. and her two sons, Robert Odell Bradley III of Greensboro and Stephen Lawton Bradley of Concord; two brothers: Frederick Adams Jr. and Jimmy Edward Adams of Mount Olive; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Summersett Funeral Home on Friday from 3 until 4 p.m. A private service will be held for the family.
