ANNIE WILSON

LAGRANGE -- Annie Laurie "Ann" Hood Wilson passed away Saturday following a long period of declining health.
Mrs. Wilson was born August 5, 1920 to the late Will and Maggie Sasser Hood of Grantham. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ben Hood, Clifton Hood and Morris Hood; two sisters, Ethel Rooks and Sudie Long; along with several brothers and sisters-in-law. Mrs. Wilson was a member of LaGrange First Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Williamson officiating. A graveside committal will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband of 63 years, J.L. Wilson; two daughters to whom she was devoted, Dr. Lynda Wilson of Smith Mountain Lake, Va. and Sandra Wilson Grant and husband, Gerald Grant Jr. of Goldsboro; two sisters, Magdalene Haney and Geraldine Pardue, both of Goldsboro; two sisters-in-law, Harriet Wilson of LaGrange and Carolyn Hill of Gastonia; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the service today and at other times they will be at the home.
In addition to flowers which she dearly loved, memorials may be made to LaGrange First Free Will Baptist Church, 802 South Caswell Street, LaGrange, N.C. 28551.
Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
