RUDOLPH MOODY

DUDLEY -- Rudolph Moody, 84, of 2500 Indian Springs Road, died Sunday.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Billy Rose officiating.
Mr. Moody was the son of the late Gilbert and Mimcey Moody and husband of the late Myrtle Moody. He is retired from the city of Goldsboro Water Department with over 35 years of service as a meter repairman.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Richard Pittman of Dudley; grandchildren, Brian Pittman, Chris Pittman, Ronnie Flanagan Jr., and Ginger Green; great-grandchildren, Alia and Logan Pittman, Chandler Pittman, Brenna and Ronald Flanigan III, and Madalen Green, a special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Perry and Christine Turnage; and a special niece, Ruby Turnage.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Flanigan; a brother, Archie Moody; and three sisters, Claudie Moody, Gertie Thompson, and Maggie Jones.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Joyce and Richard Pittman.
