MOUNT OLIVE --The funeral for Elizabeth Winn, 87, of 133 E. Nelson St. will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Payne Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, with the Rev. Johnnie B. Murphy officiating. Burial will be in the Carver Cemetery.
Mrs. Winn died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Channie Kornegay Smith.
Her survivors include one daughter, Kay Winn-Johnson of Mount Olive; two sons, Kenneth Eugene Winn and Ronald Earl Winn of Mount Olive; one brother, Charles Smith of Norfolk, Va.; and eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be held Saturday from 4 until 8 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home, and the family will be present during the last hour to receive friends.
