The funeral for James Kelvin Woodard, 43, of 1160 Norwayne School Road, will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at New Daniels Chapel Church in Fremont. The Rev. William D. Horne Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in the Hamilton Burial Gardens in Wilson.
Mr. Woodard died Wednesday at the Veterans Administration Memorial Hospital in Durham.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse James Woodard Sr., and is survived by his mother, Leatrice Bass Woodard of the home; one sister, Andrea Faison of Pikeville; and one brother, Jesse James Woodard Jr. of the home.
The viewing hours will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel in Goldsboro, and the family will be present during the last hour.
