CHERYL WOLF

Cheryl Hargrove Wolf, 75, died Monday at DuBose Health Center in Chapel Hill.
She was born in Wilson and grew up in Mount Olive, the youngest of seven children of Emma Jernigan Hargrove and Marion Lawton Hargrove. After completing high school in Mount Olive, she worked for the U.S. Navy in Washington, D.C., and then for Ellington Advertising and Parade Magazine in New York City. She and her husband, Edwin D. "Ted" Wolf, retired to Chapel Hill in 1985, after living in New York and Atlanta.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Stephen Wolf of Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Merrill Wolf of Chapel Hill and Melanie Hine of Clemmons; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, at University Presbyterian Church in Chapel Hill.
