JOE EDWARDS
Funeral services for Joe James Edwards, 72, of 722 Luther Drive, will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel, with Elder George E. Wiggins, officiating. Burial will follow at Swinson Family Cemetery.
He is survived by daughters Cecelia Williams, Selma Davis, JoAnn Peterson, all of Goldsboro, and Dalphine Rogers of Montgomery, Ala.; sons Joey Edwards and Curtis Edwards of Goldsboro; mother Lillian Swinson Edwards of Greensboro; sisters Doris Smith of Greensboro and Geraldine Pounds of Goldsboro; brothers Rev. Edmond Edwards, Benjamin Edwards Jr., Dottie Edwards all of Goldsboro; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren
Viewing will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
