PINK HILL --The funeral for Prentice Wooten Outlaw, 85, of 2415 Burncoat Road, died Wednesday at the Meadows of Pink Hill.
He was a veteran of World War II and retired from the A.S.C.S. office with 29 years of service. He was a member of the Pink Hill V.F.W. and the Pleasant Hill Masonic Lodge No. 304.
Survivors include three sons, Jimmie Outlaw and Maurice Thompson of Deep Run and Gerald Outlaw of Wilmington; one brother, Robert Lee Outlaw of Albertson; and 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Pink Hill Funeral Home.
