The funeral for Clara Mae Brock Barnes will be held Saturday at noon at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel. Apostle D.L. McIntyre will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Jean Thorn of Durham and Dr. Jacqueline Smith of Longwood, Fla.; one sister, Ruth Merion Brock of Goldsboro; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at McIntyre Funeral Home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
