Fay Groover Wilson, 69, of Rains Crossroads Road, Princeton, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be conducted on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Bill Braswell officiating. Burial will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Big Crabtree Cemetery in Spruce Pine.
Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mary Lee Walker Groover and the widow of Fred K. Wilson, who died Jan 20, 1995. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Bertie Wilson Bland of Morganton, Crystal Wilson Austin of Princeton and Elizabeth Wilson of the home; two brothers, John Allen Groover of Tampa, Fla., and Lawrence Groover of Lakeland, Fla.; and two grandsons.
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 until 9 at the funeral home, and at other times at the residence of Crystal Austin, 233 Ruffin Road, Princeton.
