MARY SMITH

LAGRANGE--Mary Rachel Killette Smith, 84, of 252 LaGrange Road, died Friday at Britthaven Nursing Home.
Mrs. Smith was born in Wayne County to the late Gilbert Killette and Mary Hepsie Parks Killette. She was married to the late Alton Rogers (Tobe) Smith.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ira Williford officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Monday in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Smith is survived by daughter Lorraine Swinson and husband Charles of La Grange; sons, Sammy Smith and wife Linda and William Rogers Smith and wife Betty Jo both of LaGrange; sister Elizabeth Phillips of Goldsboro; brothers, Wayne Killette, Robie Killette, Ray Killette, and Morris (Tom) Killette, all of La Grange, and James Earlon Killette of Mount Olive; grandchildren, Lori Chase and husband Ray, Kim Carlyle and husband Darryl, Ginger Swinson, Sherri Taylor and husband Danny, Stephanie Bass and husband Bryan, Jonathan Smith, Steven Smith and Julie Smith and husband Wayne; great-grandchildren, Summer, Colby, Jentry, Marina, Blake, Dylan, and Phillip.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son Malcolm Glenn Smith and her brother Reece Killette.
The family will receive friends following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
