MARSDEN HENRY BROWN

FAISON--Marsden Henry Brown, 84, of 410 East Mary & Elias Street joined God's Heavenly Choir on Saturday.
Mr. Brown was retired after 32 years of service with FCX. He was a faithful member of Faison Baptist Church where he served in many capacities, including singing in and directing the church choir. He loved to help his fellow man by serving with the Faison Fire and Rescue for 42 years. He was a devoted and loving Christian husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nettie Mae Byrd Brown Holmes; his father, William Henry Brown; son, Bob Williamson; and all his siblings.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Annie Barwick Brown; two sons, Ralph Williamson and wife, Ann of Grantham, and Alton Williamson of Hampton, Maine; eight grandchildren, Ann Downs, Susan Leach, Glen Williamson, Lisa Ashford, Andrea English, Rob Williamson, Cheryl Kornegay, and Bryan Williamson; and 14 great-grandchlidren.
A visitation and celebration of his life will be held today from 3-5 p.m. at Faison Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Faison Baptist Church with the Reverend Paul Rose officiating, followed by interment in Wayne Memorial Park.
