Joyce Carol Whaley Houston, 72, of Pink Hill, died Sunday at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Community Funeral Home in Beulaville. Burial will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Sandhill Cemetery in Beulaville.
Mrs. Houston is survived by her husband, Linwood Houston of Potters Hill; two daughters, Tracey Houston Kennedy of Beulaville and Sherry Houston Norris of Potters Hill; one son, Randy Houston of Potters Hill; four sisters, Griselda Adams of Florida, Myrtle Aman and Linda Barnette of Beulaville and Jo Ann Williams of Richlands; one brother Ronald Whaley of Beulaville; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service on Wednesday night.
