Funeral to be held Tuesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Alice "Coon" Jones, 83 will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries. The burial will be in the Barnes Family Cemetery. Apostle D.L. McIntyre will officiate.
Mrs. Jones is survived by two daughters, Justine Wellington of the home and Gloria Worrell of Goldsboro. Four sisters, Wilma Harvey, Bessie L. Jones and Daisy M. Jones all of Goldsboro and Geraldine Lofton of Seven Springs. Two brothers, Linwood E. Jones of Goldsboro and Willie J. Jones of Boston, Mass. Eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Monday from 1-7 p.m. and the family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Justine Wellington, 204 W.
