MARIE GRADY TURNAGE
December 10, 1932-April 14, 2006
Mrs. Marie Grady Turnage, 73, went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 14, 2006 at Duke Medical Center in Durham surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Turnage was born on December 10, 1932 in Wayne County to the late Walter Graham Grady and Burchie Elizabeth Sauls Grady. She was married to the late Durwood Turnage. Mrs.Turnage was a member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Grady and Rev. Dale Hester officiating. Interment will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Turnage is survived by her sisters, Inez Johnson of Goldsboro and Adell Mozingo of Goldsboro; her brother, Relmond Grady of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews, including her special nieces, Gay M. Coker and Kela M. Preston of Goldsboro.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 4009 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
The family will receive friends Monday following the service at the church and other times at her home, 2200 N. Berkeley Blvd., Goldsboro.
