FREMONT -- Waldo Vann Radford, 59, of Pinkney Church Road died at home.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Nahunta Friends Meeting, with Pastor Ken Spivey officiating. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Radford-Herring Cemetery on Nahunta Road in Pikeville.
Mr. Radford was born in Wayne County on November 20, 1946.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Johnson of Wilson; his stepmother, Marjorie Radford of Pikeville; two sons, Wally Myers of Fremont and Michael Myers of Rosewood; five half sisters, Jackie Joseph of Goldsboro, Katherine Woodard of Buffalo, N.Y., Brenda Pittman of Fremont , Martha Edwards of Wilson, and Freida Taylor of Wilson; three half brothers, Gary Radford and Phil Radford of Pikeville and Don Johnson of Wilson; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aaron Radford.
The family will receive friends at Nahunta Friends Meeting following the service on Friday evening, and other times at the home of Marjorie Radford, 3840 Nahunta Road, Pikeville.
The family is being served by Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
