Elmer Parker Denning, 76, died Wednesday evening at Britthaven of Snow Hill.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, and other times at the home of his daughter, Brenda Person, 427 Big Daddy's Road, Pikeville.
Howell Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.
