MYRTLE SMITH

Myrtle Rae Capallia Smith, 81, formerly of Goldsboro, died Sunday in Cedartown, Georgia.
Mrs. Smith was born in Volusia County, Fla., to the late John Capallia and Essie Rae Haddon Capallia. She was the widow of Clifton Sylvanous Smith, was formerly employed at Acme United Corp., and was a member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church.
Her survivors include one son, Joseph Elton Griffin of Douglasville, Ga.; one sister, Esther Leona Schiender of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Mausoleum Chapel of Wayne Memorial Park with Dr. Rick Cason officiating.
Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements.
