GRANT BOURNE

DUDLEY -- Grant "Barney" Delaney Bourne, 61, of Sleepy Creek Road, died Saturday at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Lawrence Ricketts will officiate.
Mr. Bourne was born in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Westcar Bourne and Isaline Jones Bourne. He was a member of the Mount Olive Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Humphrey Bourne; three daughters, Stephanie Bourne Barnes and her husband, Ronny, and Melita Bourne and Kimberly Bourne; three sisters, Lucille Lockett, Patricia Bourne McGowan and Sheila Bourne; two brothers, Lionel Bourne and his wife, Ladene, and William Bourne and his wife, Provita; one grandson, Jalen Barnes; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bourne was preceded in death by one sister, Coraline Rines, and one brother, Robert Bourne.
The family will receive friends at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory following the service on Saturday.
