PHILLIP STAFFORD

CREEDMOOR -- Former Goldsboro resident Phillip A. "Shadow" Stafford died unexpectedly on Wednesday.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Alvin Stafford.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Edith Ann P. S. Winn and James T. Winn of Creedmoor; sisters Joyce S. Miles and husband Doug Miles of Raleigh and Janice Stafford of Raleigh; brothers, John Stafford of Goldsboro, Robert Bristow and wife Joanne of Maryland, and Travis Winn and wife Christine of Hickory.
Visitation will be tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Eakes Funeral Home, 834 N. Main St., Creedmoor, and funeral services will be held there on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Epson Liberty Christian Church cemetery.
