LAGRANGE -- Wilbert Kenly Smith age 90 of 6517 Hwy. 70 West, died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Downing and Allen Ham officiating. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Smith was predeceased by a daughter, Amanda Marie Craft, and is survived by a son, Wilbert Smith Jr. of Enfield; two daughters, Lois S. Windham of Rocky Mount and Patricia S. Lang of Kinston; two stepsons, Kenneth and Donnie Garris of Kinston, two stepdaughters, Julia Riley and Jo Ann Abbott of Kinston; a brother, Noggie Smith of Goldsboro; a sister, Lessie Foss of Faison; and nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.'
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Edwards Funeral Home, and other times at the home of her grandson, Eddie Lang, at 2400 Paul's Path Road, Kinston.
