WILSON -- The funeral for Blonnell "Nell" Edwards, 55, of 5256 Carr Road, will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Perry Temple Original Free Will Baptist Church. Bishop J.N. Perry will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her husband, Bruce Wayne Edwards of the home; two sons, Bruce Wayne Edwards Jr. and Michael Christopher Edwards of Wilson; one brother, Johnnie Cox Jr. of Wilson; one sister, Janice Betty Drew of Fayetteville; four grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 6 today at Perry's Temple O.F.W.B. Church, and the family will be there to receive friends from 6 until 7 this evening.
McIntyre Funeral Home is serving the family.
