LOLA JACKSON
SELMA -- Lola Mae Capps Jackson, 77, died Thursday afternoon at her home.
Born April 26, 1928, in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Tommy and Bethany Bass Capps. She was a member of the Princeton Church of God.
A funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Saturday in the Princeton Church of God with the Rev. John Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be 2 p.m. today in the Thompson Cemetery on Stevens Chapel Road.
She is survived by her husband, Howard I. Jackson; two sons, Johnny M. Barbour of Selma and Tony Barbour of Charlotte; two daughters, Linda Evans of Goldsboro, and Gloria Barbour Parker of Rocky Mount; one brother, Douglas Capps of Selma; one sister, Edna Capps Sanders of Selma; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Parrish Funeral Home in Selma is assisting the family with service details.
