REV. JASPER JACKSON
Died February 19, 2006
The Reverend Jasper Jackson Sr. died Sunday. He was 57.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Jackson of the home; three sons, Jasper Jr. and Michael of Goldsboro and Christopher of the home; five daughters, Syncondia Davis of Goldsboro, Anais, Tesia, Monica of the home and Cassandra of Fayetteville, NC; five brothers, Sylvester Jackson , Marvin Jackson, Bishop Carlton Jackson and Ronnie Jackson of Goldsboro and Elgin Jackson of Wilmington; four sisters, Bertie Williams and Josephine Lawson of Goldsboro and Janie Carrol and Mary Ann Lewis of King George, Va.; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at noon at Branch Memorial Tabernacle, 500 Gulley Street. Apostle D. L. McIntyre will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
An inspirational wake will be held Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. at St. Joseph Free Will Baptist Church, 280 Claridge Nursery Road. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence at 920 Carver Drive.
