WARSAW -- The funeral for Lacy Gertrude Vann, 61, of 368 Sam Miller Road, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hines Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Dr. Navarro Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Vann Cemetery.
Ms. Vann died Saturday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
She was the daughter of the late Gabe and Lacy Miller Vann.
She is survived by one daughter, Shelia Williams of Warsaw; two sons, Bennie Reginald Hodges and Willie Franklin Hodges of Warsaw; one brother, Franklin Lee Vann of New York; four sisters, Tenner Vann, Mable Vann, Mary Morrisey and Rosetta Stewart of Warsaw; and 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be Friday from 4 until 6 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home and from 7 until 8 p.m. at Hines Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. The family will be at the church from 7 until 8 p.m. to receive friends.
