Wanda Renee Chavis died Wednesday.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Ben Brewington Drive. The Rev. James Collins will officiate. A visitation will be held Monday at Goldsboro Chapel from 12 until 1 p.m. At other times, the family will meet friends at the home of Annie and Leon Best, 105 S. Georgia Ave.
She is survived by her mother, Annie Chavis Best and stepfather, Leon Best of Goldsboro; her brother, Anthony Chavis (Arlene) of Durham; a nephew, Anthony Chavis Jr. of Greensboro; a stepsister, Natarlin Best of Ayden; aunts, Pearline Fitch (Alfred) of Goldsboro, Katherine Hayes of Kansas City, Miss., and Geraldine McKinnie Baker of Goldsboro.
