Thelma Latta Rudisill, 77, died Wednesday at Pinehurst Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Pinehurst.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Brian Huffman officiating.
Mrs. Rudisill was born in Greene County and was the daughter of the late Isom Latta and Maybelle Newcomb Latta. She was the widow of Charles B. Rudisill and had attended Victory Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Tywanna Pekarik of Phoenix, Ariz., and Sherry Gwaltney and husband, Andy, of Pinehurst; two sons, Donnie Wilkerson of Goldsboro and Terry Wilkerson of Wilmington; three sisters, Evelyn James of Newport News, Va., Pennie Tyndall of Snow Hill and Gail Pearce of Hampton, Va.; four brothers, Ralph Latta of Hampton, Va., L.D. Latta of Newport News, Va., Harvey Latta of Williamsburg, Va., and Bobby Latta of Virginia Beach, Va.; three grandchildren, Derek Gwaltney, Lisa Violi and Chris Pekarik; and one great-grandchild, Ashley Fenske.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Bryan Wilkerson.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
