SHEILA ANDERSON
Sheila "Sheri" Anderson, 59, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in West Virginia December 19, 1946, the daughter of Russell and Maxine Elick.
Sheri worked for a number of years at Sears in Goldsboro. After her retirement, she became an active volunteer at Wayne Memorial Hospital Nursery, and with WAGES Meals on Wheels program. She was especially proud of her membership in the New Hope Ruritan Club.
The funeral will be held 6 p.m. Monday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. T.C. West will officiate. Internment will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Woodrow Anderson; five children, Brian and wife, Garris Anderson of Goldsboro, Troy and Douglas Anderson of the home, Lisa Campbell of Aurora, Colo., and Scott Spencer and wife, Carol of England; three step-children, Tony Anderson of Lake City, Fla., Lee Ann and husband, Jeff Lewis of Easley, S.C., and George and wife, Lori Anderson of Hickory; two brothers, Lonnie and wife, Linda Elick of Aurora, Colo., and Kim and wife, Patty Elick of Littleton, Colo.; mother-in-law, Melba G. Anderson of Goldsboro; sister-in-law, Rose and husband, B.G. Goodyear of Goldsboro; brother-in-law, Frank and wife, Mary Anderson of Wilson; nine grandchildren and two special Godchildren.

The family will receive friends following the funeral service at the funeral home.
